NEW YEAR ADDRESS

I am wishing you all a very happy New Year. I am glad that you are able to join us as we usher in a New Year,  THE YEAR TWENTY TEN.  We thank the Almighty God for giving us the opportunity to witness the beginning of a New Year.

It is my prayer that TWENTY TEN will be a year of great promise, happiness and prosperity for all. 

As we are aware, the year that just ended was one of the most challenging in recent history.  During the year, the world faced an economic slowdown, foreclosures,  job losses worldwide, even swine flu was rampant,  but we are giving honor and glory to God as we were operating under the economics of God, which is above all these problems as there are  no economic slowdown, and foreclosures in Gods economy. We give thanks to the Almighty God. 

The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul, a new feet, a new nose, a new backbone, a new ears, and a new eyes. Unless a man made a new year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing

Looking in the scriptures the book 1 Corinthians 13 spoke eloquently about LOVE, that Love is Kind, envieth not, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoice not in iniquity but rejoice in truth; beareth all things hopeth all things, and endureth all things;

These are the qualities that I pray you will take to the New Year, with unyielding Love for your friends and neighbors alike.

the Lord has promised that the New year will be a prosperous one for those who worship him whole heartedly. I pray that the joy of the New Year will be yours as you have labored, it is going to be a year of great Harvest for you all.

I close tonight with the words of a great man Benjamin Franklin 'Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man.
